Miami Springs, Florida — A woman previously convicted in a notorious South Florida fast-food assault case is back behind bars after police say she violently attacked a rideshare driver and stole his vehicle outside a Miami Springs hotel.
Authorities identified the suspect as 49-year-old Natasha Ethel Bagley, whom court records reportedly describe as a “career criminal.”
Police Say Dispute Escalated Outside Hotel
According to the Miami Springs Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Sleep Inn located at 105 Fairway Drive.
Investigators say Bagley became upset while riding in a vehicle operated by a driver working for Alto on behalf of Uber. Police allege the situation quickly escalated when Bagley became hostile and began threatening the driver.
“Upon entering the carport of the hotel, Bagley got out of the Uber and began kicking the rear right passenger door of the vehicle,” an arrest report states. “(She) proceeded to forcibly remove the weather seal of the door.”
Authorities say the driver exited the vehicle in an attempt to stop further damage.
Driver Allegedly Attacked With Metal Water Bottle
Police claim Bagley then grabbed the driver’s metal Yeti water bottle from inside the vehicle and used it as a weapon.
According to investigators, she allegedly “grabbed (his) medium-sized, metal Yeti water bottle and began swinging it at (his) head with her right hand.”
Fearing for his safety, the driver reportedly retreated toward the hotel entrance. Authorities say Bagley then entered the driver’s seat of the Kia EV9 and allegedly began damaging parts of the steering column.
Police reported that she “began forcibly removing the turn signal and windshield wiper lever off the steering wheel.”
The components were allegedly thrown to the ground before the confrontation escalated further.
Vehicle Allegedly Stolen During Confrontation
Investigators say Bagley closed the driver’s side door while the driver was attempting to stop her, allegedly injuring his arm in the process.
Authorities claim she then drove away in the SUV while the driver’s iPhone remained inside the vehicle. Hotel employees later informed police that Bagley was staying at the property.
According to investigators, staff contacted authorities the following day after spotting her back at the hotel. Police responded and took her into custody without incident.

- Aggravated assault with a weapon
- Grand theft
- Criminal mischief
- Battery
Authorities confirmed she is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
Prior Burger King Assault Case Resurfaces
The arrest has renewed attention on Bagley’s previous criminal case involving a Burger King restaurant in Miami-Dade County.
Court records show that in 2020, Bagley pleaded guilty to burglary with assault or battery, strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief stemming from a 2019 incident.
According to police, Bagley and another woman entered a Burger King after allegedly being denied free fries at the drive-thru.
Authorities said the confrontation escalated when the pair entered the restaurant and confronted employees. Police alleged Bagley joined in an attack on the manager after her accomplice jumped over the counter and demanded money.
The latest allegations now place Bagley back in custody as prosecutors pursue a new series of felony charges.
