Florida Cops Say Woman Flaunted $14,000 Rolex on Social Media After Drugging Hotel Guest and Stealing It

Miami, Florida — A Wisconsin woman is facing multiple felony charges after authorities accused her of drugging men she met in hotels and nightclubs before stealing luxury watches, jewelry and designer clothing worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Investigators say the alleged theft spree unfolded over several days in the Miami area and involved multiple victims.

Victim Says He Was Drugged at Hotel

According to a probable cause affidavit reviewed by authorities, the first incident occurred on May 16 at a Candlewood Suites Hotel in Virginia Gardens.

Police say the victim met 20-year-old Deziree Nicole Hood at the hotel, where the two spent time drinking together.

The victim later told investigators that Hood handed him a drink before he began experiencing unusual symptoms.

According to court documents, he said he “began feeling disoriented, dizzy and unable to remember subsequent events.” When he later woke up, his $14,000 Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch was missing.

Authorities said a blood test later revealed the presence of benzodiazepines, commonly known as benzos. Investigators believe the drug was administered without the victim’s knowledge or consent.

Selfie Allegedly Revealed Stolen Rolex

According to police, one of the most significant pieces of evidence emerged from social media.

Investigators reportedly discovered a selfie posted online that allegedly showed Hood wearing the missing Rolex watch. The image quickly became a focal point of the investigation as detectives worked to connect the suspect to the stolen luxury item.

Authorities have not publicly stated whether the watch was recovered.

Second Victim Reports $60,000 Theft

Police say a second incident occurred on May 21 after another man met Hood at a Miami nightclub. The victim reportedly returned with Hood to the W Miami Hotel on Brickell Avenue at approximately 3 a.m.

According to investigators, the pair continued drinking until around 6 a.m., when the victim fell asleep. When he woke up approximately four hours later, Hood was allegedly gone.

Authorities say several valuable items had also disappeared, including luxury jewelry and designer clothing with a combined estimated value of $60,000.

Security footage allegedly showed Hood leaving the building at around 7:30 a.m. carrying a large bag, according to investigators.

Investigation Leads to Arrest

The second victim reportedly attempted to contact Hood through both her phone and Instagram account but received no response. Police later used the phone number connected to the suspect to identify her.

Authorities said the victim subsequently identified Hood during a photo lineup. Following the investigation, officers arrested Hood on Saturday in connection with both cases.

She is now facing two counts of grand theft and one count of false imprisonment.

Suspect Released After Posting Bond

After being taken into custody, Hood was transported to the Miami-Dade Jail.

Authorities confirmed she later posted bond and was released pending further court proceedings. As of now, officials have not publicly listed her next court appearance.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue reviewing evidence connected to the alleged thefts and determining whether additional victims may exist.
