Cheesy Mac and Cheese

Almost every kid in America has eaten a bowl of mac and cheese. Whether it’s the type you put in the microwave and end up burning, or the type where you have to get an adult to cook it for you on the stovetop. In the end mac and cheese is a childhood comfort dish for many. In this recipe you will get a nice cheesy mac and cheese that will bring you back to your younger years.

I found this recipe on TicTok by @godlovesgris . She shares multiple recipes on foods other than mac and cheese such as, tacos de birria, salsa de aguacate, and restaurant style hash browns.

The Recipe Calls For-

  • Salt
  • 4 cups of elbow noodles
  • 16 oz of velveeta cheese
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • other types of shredded cheese such as gouda cheese or mozzarella
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1.5 spoonfuls of flour
  • 2 cans of evaporated milk
  • Caldo de pollo seasoning
  • black pepper
  • a pinch of cayenne                                                 mac and cheese


The end result was delicious. The Mac and Cheese was very rich in flavor and the pasta was nicely cooked. The cheese sauce was very savory and the recipe was easy to follow especially for someone like me who doesn’t normally cook meals other than desserts. The ingredients are also easy to get and some people already have them in their kitchen. Overall this was the best Mac and Cheese that I’ve ever made and I’m definitely going to be making it again.
