Appealing Banana Bread

Imagine a nice sweet fresh out of the oven loaf of banana bread. Right as you break it apart you can see the steam flowing out and the warm smell of banana bread fills the air. This recipe makes what I say is the best banana bread I have ever tasted.

The recipe is created by Eric King and can be found on his site where he creates and shares many different recipes and tips for baking such as blueberry muffins and salted caramel sauce.

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ¼  teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼  teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, gently melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups mashed, very ripe bananas (3-4 large bananas)
  • ¼  cup vegetable oil
  • ¼  cup Greek yogurt
